All Fat Badger publications will have a royalty included in the cover price of copies produced for consumer consumption. This royalty will be divided up among participating artists andor writers appearing in a particular issue, and will be paid out in the form of a check when contributor copies are mailed out. Royalties will not be calculated for contributor and promotional copies.
Royalties are paid on a sliding scale, based upon title and production format. To insure a minimum royalty, Fat Badger Studios guarantees a minimum number of copies produced for purchase by the general public. The current royalty schedule, as of 2-15-00, is as follows:
Class A: $1 per copy (50 copy minimum),
Class B: per copy (100 copy minimum),
Class C: per copy (100 copy minimum),
Class D: per copy (100 copy minimum).

Minimum Activity/participation
Any artist or writer is welcome to submit work to Fat Badger Studios for consideration of publication.
All submissions will be graded on style, skill and general creative ability. Submissions sent without a return SASE cannot be returned.
Fat Badger Studios believes in the concept of giving back to the artistic community to whom we turn for creative support in our publishing endeavors. Thus, we will make sure that royalties are paid to our contributors (see "royalty rates"). However, to be fair to all participants in terms of eligiblity for royalty payments, a minimum amount of production-quality activity must be established. Minimum activity ("minac") is hereby defined as 5 pages of polished. creative work per individual publication. In the case of text submissions, the fifth page must have at least 50% textual coverage.
Artists and writers are certainly welcome to submit a quantity of material under the minac threshold, but are advised that they cannot be considered for royalties in that issue. They are still eligible for a shipped contributor's copy, however.
